The eagerly awaited amendment to the legal framework for the entrance, permanence, departure and removal of foreigners from national territory has finally been published (Law no. 23/2007 of 4th July), which introduces the temporary stay and residence visa for digital nomads, allowing the exercise of professional or subordinated activities remotely to outside of the national territory.
